* Flight is not included. Barcelona and Toulouse are the best airport options. If there is enough interest in a group flight, we hope to arrange. We would need at least 10 people on the same flight to get group rates.
The Resort
Grandvalira ski resort is the largest in Andorra & the entire Pyrenees. If large, interconnected ski resorts with multiple villages but without the crowds are your thing, Grandvalira may be for you says Powderhounds.com.
The Hotel
The Hotel Nordic has been built to the highest standards from beautiful stone and wood in traditional mountain style. It is the flagship hotel of El Tarter and one of the very few hotels in Andorra that are truly a “Ski in – Ski Out” location.
Standard room features wood and high quality materials that will make you feel at home. European style twin beds can be configured into one large bed for couples. Every room has a private bath.
The leisure areas of the Hotel Nordic have an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, Turkish bath, chill lounges, fitness room and massage service. They also have a game zone with bowling alley, pool tables and arcade games for more lively afternoons and evenings.
The Yoga
We’ll practice twice a day for the 6 full days that we are at the hotel, Sunday to Friday. Morning sessions (7ish) will be mindful moderate vinyasa, geared toward performance on the mountain and appreciation of the present moment.
Evening session (5ish) will be a restorative class for reflective meditation and muscle recovery. All classes will be held in a hotel conference space. Attendance for all classes is optional.
Meals
Breakfast buffet at the hotel is included every day of the trip, offering a buffet of both regional fare and mainstream European favorites. (Not just pastries. But also, pastries.)
Dinner buffet is also included every day. Please let me know any dietary preferences you have when you send your deposit so I can make sure we can work with them.
Lift Tickets
Grandvalira forms the largest skiable domain in the Pyrenees; it stretches over 210km of pistes including the resorts of Soldeu, El Tarter, Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Canillo & Encamp. Hit it all with the six day lift ticket included with your trip. Granvalira also takes Ikon Pass.
Extras
What I have described above will be included in your trip at minimum. We may decide to add extras at any time at no additional cost to you, heavily dependent on participation as we go forward. If you do research into the area and find an activity that interests you, please let me know and I will consider it if we do decide to add more to the trip.
